Leslie Feist, a Canadian-American artist is likely known best for her popular song 1234. The inspiration for the music video she got when she was dancing in the opening ceremony of the Calgary Olympic Winter Games at age 12 as one of 1000 dancers.
However, her earlier work before she became well known with 1234 is also very good. In October 2008 she anounced that she wanted to "step away from the pressures of the music industry" after the succes of the album The Reminder to consider her next career move.
