From the book The Well Tempered Clavier, a series of piano pieces, this is Johann Sebastian Bach's Prelude in C Major.
With a twist that is.
Jacques Loussier, a gifted composer, became famous for his jazz interpretations of many of Bach's pieces. After the break up of his Play Bach Trio he worked together with the likes of Pink Floyd, Elton John and Sting. Three hundred years after Bach's birth the trio reunited with two additional artists.
Halfway through, this track swings around to become a funky jazz tune to speed up and add significant speed and spice in the last minute.
