Josh Rouse is an American singer/songwriter. His music is mostly laid back rock/pop, it listens easy, but still, his lyrics can go quite deep.
He opened for John Mayer during one of his tours. Their style is comparable to some extent. Complementary might be the better word.
In 2006 he moved to Spain. He recorded a record together with his girlfriend. The duo called She's Spanish, I'm American released the record (EP) on his personal label Bedroom Classics.
Their style is said to be 'folk/roots pop'. It's just chilled out.
